Today is a declaration, a declaration that opportunity, when matched with determination, can change lives. I stand before you deeply honoured to witness what can only be described as the triumph of vision, partnership and belief.
This ceremony is living proof that when the Government of the Republic of Zambia—under the leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema joins hands with institutions like ICOF, transformation is not a promise but a reality. To the Government,
I extend heartfelt appreciation for choosing to invest not just in education, but in people. Because when you invest in people, you invest in possibility. You invest in progress. You invest in a future that is stronger, more inclusive and more hopeful. And to you, the graduands; look at how far you have come. Behind every gown you wear today is a story of sacrifice. Behind every smile is a battle you refused to lose.
Behind every certificate is resilience, discipline and courage. Many of you did not arrive here by chance. You are here because someone believed in you because a door was opened through the partnership between the New Dawn Government and ICOF.
That investment was a bold statement that you matter, that your dreams matter and that your future matters. But let me challenge you today: What will you do with that belief? Because the world you are entering does not just need graduates. It needs problem-solvers. It needs innovators. It needs leaders who refuse to look away when faced with injustice, inequality and hardship
